Abstract Art Jewellery
This a mash up of two of my favourites - Paintings & Jewellery - specifically earrings for the moment. I have found it very therapeutic to create in a different way during this lockdown. Inspired by the current work I am doing for an upcoming exhibition while also inspired by the paint palettes themselves that I use on a daily basis. Paintings presented in a different way! More to come... RL x [...]
Lockdown
I have been using this time in lockdown to work on an exhibition of paintings that I have been thinking about for some time. The exhibition will be based around the concept 'Out of Service' which is currently quite fitting in this current situation we have all found ourselves in. I have been keen on images of empty spaces with graffiti for a long time, it is a recurring visual that spikes my interest. It is also a visual we are now seeing a lot more of as things have been closed down [...]

First Paint & Prosecco night hosting at Sol Y Sombra in Killorglin with all profits going to fundraise for KFEST 2020. I received some amazing feedback from the 30 ladies that joined me on Saturday night. We created a step by step silhouette sunset painting over the course of 3 hours while sipping on prosecco! Some photos below of the night itself :) Looking forward to the next one! RL x [...]
New year 2020
2020 is here and I am starting to make the plans for the year, I had hoped to get an exhibition together in 2019 but with starting out a new business on my own it was all down to timing that this didn't happen. So it is back to the drawing board now and making sure I find time and make that time for creating some work that means something for myself. This could come in a few different forms, as of yet, this hasn't been completely decided. A sculptural element might be a nice way to start so [...]

Boats at Ross Castle
This is a series based on the beautiful boats at Ross Castle, I have always loved these and have taken so many photos on my phone over the years. This is a collaboration of all of those images. The impressionistic style is to allow the viewer the same feeling of calm and charming appeal of the real time view of these boats in their dock.
